My spacebar on my keyboard isn't working right?

Well, I was being stupid and playing with the keyboard on my EEEPC netbook, like i was sticking my student ID underneath my spacebar. I put my ID card down and now I can't use my spacebar very well. I have to press really hard to get it to work. I have tried to clean it out by sticking paintbrush bristles underneath it. But that hasn't helped. Is there a really easy way to clean out my spacebar?

1: It sounds like you jammed it, rather than getting it dirty.
2: You should be able tp flick the space bar off
It is held on with little clips
then you should be able to see the small touch switch and by removing the bar that switch should then return to the normal position and shape which I suspect you distorted with the card.
Replace the bar and all should be fine
